Portland, Oregon is a beautiful city of almost 2 million people (in the greater metro area) located in the Pacific Northwest roughly at the confluence of the Willamette (wil-LAA-met) and Columbia Rivers. We're six hours south of Vancouver, BC; three hours south of Seattle, WA; and ten hours north of San Francisco, CA (as the caravan drives.)
