Short answer: yes

Long answer: when you register, you can sign up for a weekend pass and one or two shirts. We're not going to order extra shirts, so if you don't pick a shirt style and size, you're not going to get one.

If you don't register for a weekend pass, you'll have to buy individual tickets at the door to each event. Different events will sell out, so you might be left outside standing in the cold.

For another thing, we take the registration money and use it for important pre-exchange needs like venue deposits, food, cigarette girls, and rotgut whiskey. Or something.
